Read and Respond

For my first read and respond, I chose Kaely Weir’s article, “Teaching Media: Some Initial Thoughts on Using a SMART Board in the Classroom.”  To respond to this article, I chose to use VoiceThread.

For my second read and respond, I chose Tanya Tazzioli’s article, “SMART Math Tools.”  To respond to this article, I chose to use Screencast-o-matic.

  1. Ashley, I love that you used a technology not covered in class to do a response on this article. I enjoyed how you asked questions of others during your response and you talked about things you wish the article would have addressed! I have never heard of screencast o matic and I would love to learn more about it you have time to show me sometime!

  2. Thank you! 🙂 And I would be happy to show it to you! I have actually never heard of screencast-o-matic either until I did my response. I initially was going to use Screenr but my computer wouldn’t load the site so I looked up other sites that had the same concept as screenr and this is one that I found. What I love about this program is that you don’t need the internet to do a video (although you will need it if you want to upload!).
